Another historic moment for the Municipality of Oraiokastro, and an even more significant milestone for the Municipal Youth Council of Oraiokastro, as well as for every person who has worked tirelessly to achieve this result. Pride, a sense of justice, and deep emotion are the feelings that define this moment for all of us.

We had the honour of welcoming the Minister of Family and Social Cohesion, Ms Sofia Zacharaki, whom we would like to thank sincerely. Her presence confirmed that the work carried out by our Youth Council is not only important, but essential—both for our municipality and for municipalities across Greece. We had the opportunity to present our work, while our young participants were able to ask questions that were answered directly by the Minister herself.

It was an equally great honour to welcome mayors and deputy mayors from municipalities throughout Greece, marking another historic occasion for our municipality. During the round-table discussion, representatives shared the current circumstances and challenges faced by their respective municipalities, while the work and contribution of our Youth Council received significant recognition.

Ultimately, however, the greatest congratulations belong to the people who were there from early in the morning until late in the evening, working tirelessly to make such a major event possible. To the young people and children who believed—and continue to believe—in this team. To the people closest to my heart, who are the true heroes and heroines of this Festival.
